Antique 1900s Poland Cloth Doll Paper Mache Head Signed by Maker

Description

Offered from my mother’s estate is an Antique early 1900s or older, Polish Cloth stuffed Doll with Paper Mache Head. This doll is signed by its maker on the leg. The Poland stamp is on the back side of the legs.  There is another small writing below the signer but I can’t read it.  Doll is 12″ long.  Head is crazing free which is amazing for its age.  There are a couple tiny cracks that you can see where the paper mache had been curved around the edges of her face. One sleeve was mended long ago by hand (perhaps 1920s) by looking at the thread.  The apron is dirty with age.  Doll has braids across her forehad and on her ears, made from a soft yarn or similar material.  Legs feet and body look in good condition.  Amazing condition for this old of a doll.   Signed F
