1920's Antique Molded Hair Doll Baby Composition -Limb unmarked Celluloid blink

Description

This auction is for an Antique molded hair composition & cloth baby doll.  This doll was my grandmothers  (pre 1930).  The head, arms, and legs are possibly a celluloid material. They are hard and sound hollow.  The face is cracking…some cracking on arms and legs too. Arms are painted whitish (very discolored and dirty). Upper part of legs are painted white to resemble (I’m assuming) and undergarment. Larger crack at dolls’ right eye- see photos.  Staining on cloth body and on limbs and face. Eyes still blink…blue eyes with yellowing in the white part due to age…close when lay..open when sit.   (work good).  Body is a cloth… and stuffed with straw like material (packed tight)(view photos).
Joints held together with looks like metal nail and hook mechanism.
This doll looks to have been VERY LOVED!
Doll is approximately 15″ long. Smells slightly vintage musty …OLD!
